AbstractSummary A case of adenomatosis of the colon accompanied by sebocystomatosis is presented. The existence of a definite syndrome characterized by the presence of sebaceous cysts, osteomas, or fibrous tumors, or combinations of these in conjunction with adenomatosis, is acknowledged. Its importance in detection of undiagnosed cases of adenomatosis is obvious. Divergent opinions regarding the extent of resection advisable for these patients are mentioned.

Sebocystomatosis: a clinical case study

AbstractSebocystomatosis, a rare skin disease characterized by sebum-filled skin cysts, affected a 28-year-old female. Lesions started at 12 years, initially located on the sternum, then extending to the forearms and abdomen. A biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of sebocystomatosis, revealing epidermal cysts in the dermis with sebaceous glands. Sebocystomatosis is sparsely documented in medical literature. Our patient presents persistent skin lesions, diagnosed as sebocystomatosis by biopsy. Early recognition is crucial for management, emphasizing the importance of biopsy for the accurate diagnosis of this skin disease.
