AbstractPartial lipodystrophy, a symmetrical wasting of adipose tissue from the face and proximal part of the body, is a rare disease of undetermined etiology. Despite our ignorance of the underlying pathophysiology, the clinical manifestations are entirely reversible with liquid silicone.
